FAQs
A little help planning
Some details are still taking shape. We will keep this page updated as plans are confirmed.
What kind of celebration are you planning?
A relaxed, intimate gathering: a short ceremony followed by drinks, good food, and conversation. We are most looking forward to having our closest people together in Malta.
When should I RSVP?
We will confirm the reply deadline soon. You can already use the code on your invitation to RSVP.
Can I bring a plus-one?
Please follow the names on your invitation. If you are unsure who is included, please reach out to us directly before adding anyone.
Are children welcome?
We are still confirming the arrangements for children and will update this page. Please reach out to us directly before making family travel plans.
When should I arrive? Are there other outings?
The celebration is on Thursday, September 9, 2027. From the US, many flights arrive the following day; consider allowing a day or two to settle in before the celebration. An optional Mdina walk on Wednesday, September 8 is tentative. Other outings before or after are still to be confirmed, so please do not book around those plans yet.
Where should I start with travel from the US?
Our Travel & Stay page covers flights to Malta (MLA), overnight travel, US passport guidance, plug adapters, money, and the time difference. Check current entry requirements for your passport and route before booking.
How can I use mobile data in Malta?
Check whether your US phone plan includes data in Malta and what roaming costs before you travel. A travel eSIM can be a convenient alternative if your phone is unlocked and supports eSIM. Airalo, Nomad, and Holafly are three options to compare; check Malta coverage, data allowances, validity, hotspot rules, and any speed limits before buying. Many travel plans are data-only, so regular calls and texts may still cost extra through your US carrier. Follow the provider’s installation and activation instructions over Wi-Fi before departure, and use the travel eSIM for cellular data in Malta with data roaming turned off on your US line.
Is there a hotel block or booking code?
Accommodation and any group booking arrangements are still to be confirmed. Our Travel & Stay page offers starting points; check room availability and cancellation terms with your accommodation.
Will there be transport?
Group transport is still to be confirmed. You can tell us in your RSVP if transport would help. We will share pickup and return details once arrangements are settled.
Is the venue accessible?
Mdina has uneven stone streets and The Xara Palace is a historic building. We are confirming accessible routes and venue arrangements. Please share your needs in your RSVP or reach out to us directly so we can plan with you.
What should I wear?
Cocktail attire with a Mediterranean lightness. Choose shoes comfortable on uneven limestone and bring a light layer for the evening.
Can you accommodate dietary needs?
Please include dietary requirements and allergies for each guest in your RSVP. We will confirm arrangements with the venue; please reach out to us directly about any specific concerns.
Can we take and share photos?
We will confirm any ceremony photography guidance closer to the day. You can share photographs through the Share photos page. Add your invitation code if you would like to manage your household’s uploads later. Selected photographs will appear in the public Gallery.
Who should I contact?
